I am a visual artist using both traditional and contemporary methods to investigate contemporary life, including painting and sculpture as well as performance and installation. I take individual commissions and make work for exhibition. I also lead art workshops for children and adults, emphasising the value of art-making as much as the final art product.

Events

Building a Shoe Cairn, 2002.  I facilitated the building of a cairn of shoes to launch the sculpture project Waymerks, which placed 13 kists, made by different local sculptors, along the Southern Upland Way. The Kists contain waymerks which can be collected by walkers.  www.waymerks.org.uk
